We will be passing the roth road site on the way to and from the job site and I'm thinking about stopping there on the way back to get shale to bring back for more controlled opening (for fossils). MarleysGh0st Posted November 5, 2013 Share Posted November 5, 2013 I don't know anything about the site you mentioned, so I can't tell you what you might expect to find there. But when fossil collecting, I'd be looking for specimens at least partially exposed on the surface of the rock, either before or after I split them in the field with my rock hammer and chisel.
