Found some great stuff including 2 mortoni,several whipplei, 1 p. Anonymous., 4 pretty big sharks teeth( Cretodus crassidens all over 1.25 inches), 2 fish jawbones( enchodus petrosus and Saurodon), several nice verts.( one is a inch in diameter), and of course sharks teeth Will post better pictures of the washed up finds tomorrow but for now time to catch some sleep Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have had a fair amount of micro material from there and did find some decent stuff ..... but still would like to do the quarry one day. Those crassidens are very nice. I was on the TXI trip last weekend with NSR King (Dont know him by his profile, but seeing this picture of his haul on his post - I'm quite certain I hunted with him for a while. Thanks for showing me the ropes King!) Thanks also to the fine folks of the DPS and TXI quarry! Great trip. attached are my pickings of the day. Pyrite nodules in and out of matrix and a few teeth. I also got some druzy quartz on slate but those are residing in the flower bed.
