old dead things
I had a post awhile back about collecting Minnesota with FF member Bev. At that time I had some photos, but no identification for them. Then Bev's website went down and now that it is back up I was able to identify my finds. I am sure that Bev (whom is much more astute on Ordovician fossils than I) will correct me should I mislabel any of these. These all were collected from the Ordovician in the Galena Formation of southeastern Minnesota. Receptaculitids Hormotomos gastropods Maclurite gastropods On my next trip to southeastern Minnesota I will allot more time, take better tools and listen more carefully to Bev

Bev
You got all the IDs correct! But where were the praspora bryozoans, twig bryozoans and crinoid link? And then you got that gorgeous hash plate. And this very, very rare Wilsonceras curved cephalopod. LOL :-D It was a very good time given what, 4 hrs. of collecting? Next Year!!! The more I learn, I realize the less I know.
