John Hamilton
These micro fossils were found in matrix provided by Forum member jcbshark aka Jeff. Thisis a distinct difference between the matrix from this location and the matrix John Sacha has collected from the Peace River for me. This matrix has a very high ratio of shell material to pebble and the Peace River matrix is mostly pebble. Both of the locations produce similar fossils the only major difference I noted is this site produces a high number Isitius (cookie cutter) teeth. I'll start out with the sharks. MarcoSr
John Nice specimens. Nice pictures. The shark tooth001 is probably one of the many Carcharhinus species. I believe Rhinobatis sp001 is Rhynchobatus based upon the size, transverse crest, and lack of lateral uvula. I have no idea what sp001 unknown might be.
