Scylla
Reanalysis of a Neanderthal hyoid bone, they can still theoretically have complex speech. Although if you cut out a modern human's hyoid, we still can speak just fine! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-25465102
curious kat
....no, not sick of hearing about Neanderthals Scylla I don't know that much about them so it's very interesting, after all we (our bodies) have a bit of their DNA...so family in a way, right? Funny thing, it's only been a few years since I finally learned how to pronounce "Neanderthal"...the end sound of it that is, "tal" instead of "thal", if you know what I mean? You've posted some good reading, thank you!

Herb
We all have some DNA ancestry back to a tribe in the South of Africa.
