sameflo
Hi all, I have no experince with the mammals teeth so I want to post them here for a identification. I will put the information from the person that gave them to me (he is a geologist) and what I think they are: He said that is a equus tooth (from pleistocene), my opinion is a bovidae tooth This he said that is a bos taurus tooth (from neolithic), I don,t know what to say (maybe) And this one he said that is a bos primigenius tooth (from pleisocene), I wish that is true but I don't know, is not similar with what I have found on the internet. Thanks in advance Florin

RichW9090
This is either a lower m3 or a lower p2 of Equus. 1 The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".
RichW9090
Neither of the first two teeth is Equus. I'd like to see a better photograph of the chewing surface of both, but I think they are bovid. The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".

The suspicions about "bos primigenius" tooth were true, is not a bovid tooth. For Roadrunner: He give them to me with money
sameflo
Hi again, I have made new photos for my three teeth. I hope they are good because in Romania this winter time the light is not a amateur photographer friend. The camera is smart but I am the stupid one . First one: Second one: Third one: Allmost my entire colection is posted in my blog: http://fosilesiroci.blogspot.ro/ The blog is in romanian and it contains other colections too. The number of persons that are pasionate about the fossils in my country is very little and is very hard to ask opinions. Some of the fossils are maybe wrong identified like this teeth and I am trying constant to solve this issues.
MarcoSr
Really nice teeth and great pictures. You should get a good id with those pictures. RichW9090
Great pictures, and yes, Bison/Bos; Bison/Bos and Equus. The Bison/Bos are upper molars (the first I think is a Left M3, the second probably an M1), the Equus is a lower p2 or m3. Rich The plural of "anecdote" is not "evidence".
