Wrangellian Posted January 11, 2014 Share Posted January 11, 2014 Ah - when people told me about this item when it first hit the news, I got the impression that they thought glass sponges were rediscovered (which I knew they were still around, so that had to be wrong), or maybe a specific genus or species of them... but apparently it's REEF-FORMING glass sponges that have been found..
