Documenting Doomed Outcrops: Scientists’ Cliffs, Maryland

Recommended Posts

15 years ago, while taking a Geology course through the USDA Grad School, I had the pleasure of participating in a field trip to these exact cliffs, by way of this wonderful and eclectic community's indulgence (I believe it was Dr. Vogt himself who escorted us).

It is the residential enclave itself, with its varied architecture and laid-back feel, that I remember best!
