15 years ago, while taking a Geology course through the USDA Grad School, I had the pleasure of participating in a field trip to these exact cliffs, by way of this wonderful and eclectic community's indulgence (I believe it was Dr. Vogt himself who escorted us).

It is the residential enclave itself, with its varied architecture and laid-back feel, that I remember best!

been there myself in feb, wore my backpack on the front to block the biting wind. great teeth and verts.
