Was out looking around on Hornby island BC,and came across this. To me looks like a anemone....But i am green to all this. Any insight would be appreciated

Can you tell us it's age? It could be something very interesting, but I don't want to stick my neck out without being certain it's the right age first...

It's Upper Cretaceous. I think it's just a cross-sectioned concretion that has been subsequently weathered... or something along those lines. Things like this on Hornby often have fossils inside them, if you split them open, but in this case I wouldn't bother unless I could see the cross-section of something (shell) evident as is.
