dino555
Long Size 3/4". Edited June 18, 2014 by dino555
Troodon
Current thinking by some of the leading paleontologist on theropods do not believe that Aublysodon is a valid genus. The type specimen was identified only by its pre-maxillary teeth. I would put a label on this tooth as tyrannosaurid and if you would push me further lean towards Nanotyrannus but that is a guess. ID of small isolated pre-maxillary teeth is best left to theropod paleontologists.
dino555
Are these likely the Raptor tooth ?
Troodon
The tooth you have is a pre-maxillary tooth which is the upper front tooth. I think its too big to be from a raptor type dinosaur that is why I said its from a tyrannosaurid type dinosaur.

Troodon
Yes, I say that because if I look at the raptors that are in the Hell Creek, Saurornitholestes and Acheroraptor they all have small skulls. Again, ID of isolated teeth is not easy and I'm sure there are still new discoveries that will change everything.
