Claw?

I got back a little bit ago from the DPS field trip to a creek in Sherman, Texas. I know the area is late Cretaceous Period but I don't know what formation it is. We went to mostly find sharks teeth and oh did I find just a few. I found a few other things like three pieces of horse or cow's tooth. Along the things I found was this. I think it is a claw of some sort. It has a portal in it where a blood vessel ran through it. Any ideas?

That is a jaw fragment sir.

But I'm not sure from what.

Is it fossilized? It looks like a small mammal carnivore to me....
