hammada Posted August 5, 2014 Share Posted August 5, 2014 This 8 cm specimen, a solid dark amber of the middle Miocene, was fractured in correspondence with a cleavage plane produced by tectonic stresses.Looking carefully I ( and perhaps only I) well recognize the contour of the left section of the body of a frog with the hind leg folded and the head of another frog, where stands a little bit of skin perfectly preserved.Anyway are always 83 grams of good material to make beads and cabochons!
