Topaz
I found these on Hunting Island, South Carolina beach. Can you help me identify the species?
littlejetties
I'm no expert, but I believe the top left is a Lemon shark and bottom right is a piece of a tiger shark tooth.
Kkoz
Ya the top left is a lemon shark and bottom right is either a tiger fragment or tiny cow shark. The bottom left is probably a mako. But Im not a profesional nice finds!
MarcoSr
Top left is a Carcharhinus sp. lower tooth. The lack of heels, shortness of the crown, shape of the nutrient grove, and the straightness of the root lobes taken together don't match a Lemon tooth. The fragmentary nature of the other teeth makes any id very speculative. Marco Sr. 1 "Any day that you can fossil hunt is a great day." New Members SharktoothJohnny Posted October 17, 2014 New Members Share Posted October 17, 2014 The top left is a lemon, but that has already been stated. The bottom right however is definitely the side of a Hemipristis Serra.
