Strange Fossil Amongst River Rocks In Tx

FF,

Thanks for having me on guys... Would love help identifying the fossil in the attached photo. It is about 2 inches by 1.5 inches and sort of hollow ... Filled with a crystalline type of rock. The tube part seems wood like , but the "nipple" like structure on the top lends me to believe its animal life. It was found in TX amongst river rocks.

Could be a complete rudist. I've never seen one with the lid still attached.
