Triceratops
I have had this piece of wood for a while. Can anyone tell me where it's from. I know its nearly impossible to id wood from a photo but I'd really like to know where it might be from . Thanks -Lyall
Triceratops
Could it be from Madagascar? -Lyall
TyrannosaurusRex
If you can cut and polish an end of it, you will have better success on having it identified. Where did you get it from?
Triceratops
Thanks! It was given as a gift. -Lyall
Magicman
Just based on color, it matches the ones I have had from Florida/Georgia region. The Arizona/New Mexico samples have a orange tint and the Madagascar specimens I've had have a fair amount of red. That's just from my limited experience.
