Meri
I have some ammonites. Can you help me to discover what type they are? I bougt the first ammonite today. I think that it is from Morocco. And the other ammonite is from England (Lyme Regis), I bought it here. The diameter of the euro coin is 2.3 milimeters. Thanks! Meri Meri
Bathollovian
Probably a Calycoceras from the Cenomanian ? But I find the second looks like a Perisphinctid from Madagascar, no ? 1 Regards, Bathollovian
Ammojoe
Your first ammonite looks to me like a Mantelliceras from Morocco. You second ammonite may have been bought at Lyme Regis; but it certainly wasn't found there! I agree with Bathollovian that it's a Perisphinctid, probably Perisphinctes, certainly from Madagascar. Hope this helps 1 Kind regards, Joe
Triceratops
The second one looks like a Persphinctes from the Jurrasic of Madagascar. 1 -Lyall
