fossilized6s
It seems as though Alberta has all of the goodies. I think i need to start practicing my "hay'dares" and "ho'dares", and learn to drink my milk from a bag. izak_
Very cool! I am thinking how the feathers got trapped in amber. Maybe a dinosaur ran past a tree and some of its feathers god stuck in the leaking amber. Thanks so much for sharing!
jpc
JP, Yes, ... the page asked me to subscribe or register for free... login.jpg Regards, Interesting... I am not a subscriber to Science, but I never even saw that page. I bet my college library access is doing me a favor here without my knowing it. Anyway, the printed version I found did a bad job of printing the last line on each of the sources, so yours might be the way to go. Thanks for this. Doctor Mud
Wow! Thanks for sharing. A very significant event in paleontology. I noticed that they screened 4000 pieces of amber to find the precious feather inclusions - patience certainly had its rewards! I liked the other paper in the PDF on using trace metals as a step towards inferring pigmentation in fossil feathers.
