Fossil Claw
I have seen folks list airscribs as good prep tools on the forum. What about air needle scalers? http://www.harborfreight.com/air-needle-scaler-1108.html Also does anyone know where I can get some bulk wholesale non-prepped fossils for practice? jpc
Looks fairly rough. Anyone else ever heard of this being used on fossils?
Fossildude19
I would say absolutely not. It weighs 6 pounds. Much too heavy, and rough for fossil prep. Unless of course, you are digging a mammoth out of solid ice! Look on eBay, and craigslist. Check tag sales, flea markets, and pawn shops. I got a no-name brand for 50.00 on ebay. Works fine - need to purchase a longer needle, but works well.
