Fossil Claw
Found these Friday. Trimmed the matrix to a more appealing size and shape carefully on site with my rock hammer. Cleaned them up with a battery powered tile/grout scruber (looks like a big electric tooth brush). lightly highlighted the horn coral with pledge floor shine. I like the way they turned out as display pieces.

RJB
You took the everyday common lowly horn coral and turned it into some nice display pieces. Nice job. RB
jcbshark
Looks very nice Dom: ) Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!
Fossil Claw
Thanks RBJ. My thoughts exactly. When I saw them in the field I thought, hmmm horn coral that might clean up nicely and make a good display vs. being cataloged an put in a storage box in the basement.
