Fossil Tooth(?) Found In El Paso Desert

I found this in the desert near El Paso. Any ideas on what it might be?

Welcome to TFF!

I can't see any evidence of a fossil in that rock, but keep looking :) Keep in mind I may be wrong...

I think it is a mimic; weathered sedimentary layers sculpted by Ma Nature into a suggestive shape. :)
