Fossildude19
Hey there, Saysac! You are finding some cool stuff in your area. I think your third item is a fish scale, however. Certainly has the look of a scale to me. Thanks for posting your finds here - I am enjoying seeing them. saysac
Tim, Thank you for the comment, but there are no fish fossils found here, only plant material. The third one is similar to one of these previous finds? Sherry
Herb
looks like a cross section of a seed. ZiggieCie
I do understand extra rocks with fossils on them. Been there do that, all of the time.
Stocksdale
The first one in the first post is another one of those big winged seeds--Cardiocarpon. Do a lot of your seeds like that have a faint impression of what looks like two "wings" around them. The second one is part of a Megalopteris. And the third one is interesting. It does kind of look like a fish scale. But could be something else. What size is it? Somewhere, something incredible is waiting to be known.–Carl Sagan
saysac
No Paul, not all the seeds have that "wing" impression in the back. Measures 1" x 3/4" Sherry
