BobWill
October will be busy for the Dallas Paleontological Society this year. In addition to the Society of Vertebrate Paleontology annual conference and the My Fossil Project meeting we are having Dr, Paul Sereno as speaker at our general meeting on the 12th. He's professor of paleontology at the University of Chicago and will speak on feathered dinosaurs. All of this and the usual National Fossil Day (month) activities at North Sulpher River, Mineral Wells Fossil Park and Fossilmania in Glen Rose, there are several field trips and a brand new event in Grapevine celebrating the new dinosaur footprints found at the nearby lake. We also just had Lee Berger speak at the Perot Museum on his recently found Homo naledi. Have a look at our website for more details and join us if you are in town. http://www.dallaspaleo.org/ Edited October 1, 2015 by BobWill

BobWill
No but if you come early we're going to North Sulphur River on the 11th, and to another place on the river after some brief talks about the site on the 17th. Check out our website calendar. It's got clickable events.
