Nighttyme
I have this rock with a ton of "stuff" on it. I would like to use it in my fountain, but I wanted to check to see if any of the fossils are something I should try to preserve first. There is a lot going on, but most of them appear to be the same organism, right?
Auspex
IMO, this will make a fascinating fountain rock "There has been an alarming increase in the number of things I know nothing about." - Ashleigh Ellwood Brilliant “Try to learn something about everything and everything about something.” - Thomas Henry Huxley >Paleontology is an evolving science. >May your wonders never cease! the tatter
I see different animals in your rock, there are brachiopods, bryozoans, and some of the holes may be where crinoid colmnals may have been. There is also a place where there might have been the imprint of a gastropod, or cephalopod. I think the rock is chert. And it is a fun piece, and would be just fine in a fountain.
