Nighttyme
This is a brachiopod, right? I am trying to work it out of the matrix, but have already broken it a little in my attempts.
Auspex
This is a brachiopod, right?... Yes, a Mucrospirifer, from what I can see. Probably Devonian? Fossildude19
I wouldn't call it a Mucrospirifer - but some sort of spiriferid certainly. More would have to be uncovered, to make a certain ID. GerryK
The brachiopod looks like a Mississippian spiriferid, Anthracospirifer is one possibility. Hopefully some one who collects Mississippian fossils may be able to identify the brachiopod.
