oilshale
Difficult to see the skull bones, would be necessary to be 100% sure. But I guess it's Parasemionotus labordei Priem, 1924Lower TriassicDienerian northwestern part of Madagascar, province of Antsiranana, region around AmbilobeMadagascar Lit.:Priem, F. abyssunder
Maybe is a Lower Triassic nodule with Perleidus madagascariensis. oilshale
Maybe is a Lower Triassic nodule with Perleidus madagascariensis. No, I don't think so - this is not a Perleidus. (Plesio)perleidus has a more streamlined body, small ventral fins and a longer head. Another telltale sign is serrated scales, but this is difficult to see. This fish here is rather stout with a very small head and quite large ventral fins.
