Ludwigia
That pesky dyslexia gets us all at one time or another. Nice Ammonoids once again!! Tony I think it's rather developing dementia... Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
Ludwigia
I've got the last one on the way now. It's a quite large Parkinsonia sp. with 23cm. diameter from, you guessed it, Burton Bradstock. It's rather nicely preserved except for the fact that part of the outer whorl is missing, so it looks like I'll be getting down to some modelling next. Have to take a break tomorrow however, since children and grandchildren are coming over for the day. Here are before and after pics from both sides. Oops, too many bytes. Have to start a new post..... Edited December 26, 2015 by Ludwigia Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/

Ludwigia
Well, as it turned out, the grandchildren wanted to visit my workshop, so we spent some time watching how the abrader and pens do their work, looked at a lot of things under the microscope, and then they were happy to look over my shoulder and give me advice as I did some modelling. So today I managed to kill two birds with one stone (what a terrible expression). All that's left to do now is to mix the colors once the putty dries. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. In Dutch we have a similar expression that is a little less terrible. Which roughly translates to "to kill two flies with one strike" Olof Moleman AKA Lord Trilobite

Which roughly translates to "to kill two flies with one strike" Thanks. I'm desperately trying to mix the right color tones at the moment. In Germany we speak of "alles in einem Abwasch", which means "everything in one washing-up", so you don't have to kill anything. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Ludwigia
Well, I've got it finished now, or at least I've done the best with the colors that I could. Just can't seem to get it quite right, but this'll have to do. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/

Ludwigia
Thanks, William. Well that was the last one from this group of aquisitions. I must say that that was certainly a fair trade for a number of hours of prepping. Thanks to all for your comments and interest. Greetings from the Lake of Constance.
