Jones1rocks
3-1/8" x 1" x 3/4". Accurately pictured as far as coloring. Any ideas? Thanks!
Al Dente
Part of a horn coral that was partially replaced with quartz. Edit Silicified horn coral is a better way of saying it. This might be the internal sediment that has silicified with the rest of the coral dissolved away. Edited December 16, 2015 by Al Dente

abyssunder
Nice specimen! I like the little Beekite rings visible all around, especially in pic one along the margin. 1 " We are not separate and independent entities, but like links in a chain, and we could not by any means be what we are without those who went before us and showed us the way.
