Tylostoma?

Hummm... Close as in horse shoes, close as in dancing or close as in hand grenades?

Pretty rough gastropod specimen.

Where in Benbrook?

Nice fossil!

IMO it's Tylostoma in genus (tumidium in specie is a good possibility) as you thought.

Yes, looks like Tylosoma tumidium, found many there and around Granbury/Glen Rose area......
