JustPlainPetrified
Well, I finally did it! I prepared my solution of Butvar 76 in Acetone and pour it in, over and around this puppy. Now it is drying. Better pictures to come once it dries out a bit.

JustPlainPetrified
Here are a couple photos of the horn. I think I will get a display case built for it as it will be a certain dust gatherer with the rough exterior. Butvar 76 worked great on it but I did finish the exterior with a clear satin finish spray lacquer.
fossilized6s
Good job. That thing has a nice patina and character. ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG
