I will post some pictures of the cleaned crystals when I get the chance. Very nice! Like raisins in the dough. Sure looks like a different kind of job than opening up a cleft in the alps. Is that a claim dig? Thank You! The surrounding bed rock is somewhat decomposed which makes it a lot easier to dig, but it is an alpine quartz facies. Yes, We were digging on My claim. I have some friends that went to Arkansas for a crystal dig tour and didn't find anything even close to as nice as those you found. Yes they came from the 5000 foot elevation of the Sierra Nevada mountains. When I was in Arkansas I went for the diamonds. Did not find any but had fun looking.
