Shamalama
Yeah, The lady I spoke to was at the quarry itself so I'm pretty sure that noon is the end time. What I'm more worried about now is the number of people going and how crowded it will be. I don't know what the collecting location is like and how much space/material will be available. I spoke to another person who had been there before and they said that it gets crowded with 30-40 people. I may reconsider this trek out.... -Dave __________________________________________________ Geologists on the whole are inconsistent drivers. To them, the roadcut is a portal, a fragment of a regional story, a proscenium arch that leads their imaginations into the earth and through the surrounding terrain. - John McPheeIf I'm going to drive safely, I can't do geology. - John McPheeCheck out my Blog for more fossils I've found: http://viewsofthemahantango.blogspot.com/
Toddster
Hmmm. My hotel room is non-refundable so I'm definitely going. I sure hope they don't have to turn some away, that would be a real bummer!
jgcox
The collecting area is NOT the quarry floor it is the area where the tailing piles are dumped--no one is allowed into the actual quarry.
