JohnJ
The Winner of the June 2016 Invertebrate / Plant Find Of The Month is the Didontogaster cordylina polychaete worm from the Late Carboniferous Francis Creek shale of Illinois, U.S.A.! For his second win in the contest, I happily congratulate Charlie (fossilized6s) on an outstanding find from the Francis Creek fauna! Thanks to all the other members that voted and participated in the contest. fossilized6s
Thank you all that voted for this beautiful specimen. I'm blessed to be able to find these wonderful fossils. It never ceases to amaze me how something that is 300myo can be preserved so beautifully. June was a bit slow for invertebrates, so let's get out and find some real stunners in July! Happy hunting and good luck, Fossil friends. ~Charlie~ "There are those that look at things the way they are, and ask why.....i dream of things that never were, and ask why not?" ~RFK ->Get your Mosasaur print ->How to spot a fake Trilobite ->How to identify a CONCRETION from a DINOSAUR EGG

digit
Congratulations, Charlie! You have successfully completed the OTM trio of merit badges (IPFOTM, VFOTM and MOTM). Now, all you have to do is set your sights on the Golden Drool Bucket (GDB) award which would look real good under your profile. Cheers. -Ken
