Fruitbat Posted July 31, 2016 Share Posted July 31, 2016 I'll go with Harry Pristis and limit my identification to 'selenodont artiodactyl maxilla'. You do have some Miocene strata (Ogallala Formation) in the Hays, Kansas area (but no Oligocene, which rules out Leptauchenia or Sespia). It could be an oreodont but there is also a small camelid (Procamelus) recorded from the Ogallala Formation.
