Fossildude19 Posted August 7, 2016 Share Posted August 7, 2016 I don't think it is an insect - I see no veining to indicate a wing, and no segmentation that would indicate a body of an insect. I think it is a small piece of plant matter. Either a bit of a stem, or a pinnule. I have cropped, enlarged, and contrasted your photo, to try to bring out some detail, but I am not seeing any.
