sisterkeith
I have large stone with this image embedded (Fossil imprint?) among many I acquired to form paths in my gardens. As you can see, it looks like a "claw" - maybe with pad at bottom right of my foot - or it was suggested a "wing" portion? . . . I don't think it is an anomaly. As I do not know where exactly from where the stones came - here in the San Antonio, TX area most stones/rock came from quarries in the surrounding county. Any suggestions are welcome. ynot
Welcome to TFF! This rock looks like it has "ripple" marks on it, but may be trace burrows. Not claws or feathers or wings. Tony Darwin said: " Man sprang from monkeys." Will Rogers said: " Some of them didn't spring far enough." My Fossil collection - My Mineral collection My favorite thread on TFF. caldigger
Humm, not really seeing the piece very clearly. Doesn't enlarge very close to get a good look. Can you take a closer shot of what you are seeing?
Kane
I am seeing something geologic here. It may be sedimentation pattern, but I'm not seeing from this image anything definitively biologic. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

Kane
Still seeing geologic here. A print would have much more definition. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer
