Fossil from Braunschweig?

Hello,

 

A while ago I found this near Braunschweig, and I was wondering what the ribbed structure at the top could be. Any ideas?

Hi and welcome to TFF !

 

My mother comes from Braunschweig ! So its nice to see a fossil from there :)

I dont really know what you have ... but i think that i can see parts of ammonites there ?

Lets see what others say ;)

Any idea of the age of the strata around there?

@Fossildude19 I'm not sure about the age. I believe this region used to be at the bottom of the sea 100,5-66 million years ago.
