Been a while since I’ve posted. I’m rarely ever on here anymore.

Nevertheless, I wanted to share a very recent reaquisition.

I found this juvenile Allosaurus fragilis hand claw in Summer of 2000. Third photo is of the claw after cleaning. Fourth picture is of my son and I right after digging it out.

Parted with it reluctantly due to a financial emergency several years ago, and was finally able to get it back into my collection on Election Day. It has obvious sentimental value for me because my son and I excavated it.

Goodness gracious, what an incredible find.

Great story with a nice happy ending too. :bone_claw:

This is a work in progress tooth. Had to take it completely apart. The pics show progression from original appearance until present. Will eventually get it completed. Buts it’s turning out to be a nice tooth.

That digit is beautiful.  That tooth is right up you alley, making good progress

Thanks Frank. Yeah, that phalanx is crisp and gorgeous! Though glued together, it was in two sections and had these beautiful crystals in the core.

Nice Henry! Are you going to paint the root etchings or leave as is?

No! That is sacrilege! Natural is best.
Besides, the etchings are very shallow and have not lost the satiny enamel finish. It’s beautiful as is.

But thanks for asking.
