Fossil tooth?

Hi Team

I found two fossils I presume and I am uploading photos of one of them on this thread. I live in Australia and found these fossils on Sorrento Beach in the Victoria State of Australia.

Any help in identifying the fossil would be great help :-) The length of the specimen is 4 cm, the broader end is 1 cm wide and the narrow end is about 4mm wide.

Looks like some sort of shell material to me, but not a tooth.

I see no enamel or root material, that would suggest tooth to me.

Not a tooth.

Maybe some type of coral?

I'm also thinking eroded coral.
