Guest solius symbiosus Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 In a paper to be published in the journal Nature, researchers at Arizona State, using oxygen isotopic data, postulate that primitive non-vascular plants provided the necessary components that led to the Cambrian explosion. It was a massive greening of the planet by non-vascular plants, or primitive ground huggers, as Knauth calls them.
