Tooth, claw? Please help ID this piece

Well im no expert, but it looks like a water worn rock that slightly resembles a claw or tooth.

I am with Raggedy Man on this one.

I am thinking water worn rock.

 

Can we get some close up photos of the texture though? It may be a piece of bone.

 

I see South Texas listed, any other info you can provide? maybe a size as well?

Thank you for the responses. This piece is 10" long and 3" wide. Pretty large. Here are a few more photos.

I think it's a bone, not a fossil one though.

I see crystals in the chipped bit not bone structure so I'm with the water worn rock group
