Barerootbonsai
Hi All, while walking through the Lake District on Hill Blencathra. I found this wondered if anyone knows what it is. Nick
Miocene_Mason
id guess it to be plant material, my shoddy cross referencing of a geologic map indicates the area is Carboniferous? (Question mark shows my uncertainty). If it is Carboniferous (feel incouraged to correct me with the use of a geologic map, you can use your exact location) than plant material would be common. “...whilst this planet has gone cycling on according to the fixed law of gravity, from so simple a beginning endless forms most beautiful and most wonderful have been and are being evolved.” ~ Charles Darwin Happy hunting, Mason
