Unidentified fossil!

Found on Winterton Beach, Norfolk, East coast of England. No idea what it is, and can't find info! Any help appreciated. Many thanks.

Looks like a solitary coral.

I think it's a sponge, possibly Ventriculites (some of them look like this) though there are many others from the Cretaceous Chalk of the area.
