holdinghistory
Does anyone have a suggestion of where to get tips for the end of sandblasting pencils? I have a two pencil unit with a blast box and the tanks on the back ( a vaniman sandstorm). Not sure either if there are different sizes with one more ideal than another? Will mostly be prepping trilobites and some fish.
Fossildude19
I know MalcolmT gets blunt dispensing needle tips that he hot glues to his air abraders. I think he uses between 16-20 gauge. Easily found on Ebay or Amazon. Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Malcolmt
I actually mostly use Comco nozzles bought directly from them. The most common I use are the high precision .015, .018 and the .030. I used the dispensing needles on the pasche units to make them more precise. Occasionally I will still use a dispensing needle on my Comco unit with a extra long needle to get into a spot that I cannot reach with a regualar nozzle.
AncientEarth
You can find comco nozzles and other brand ones on ebay for pretty cheap prices, MalcolmT is right you can also get a set direct from comco.
