Newguy Taking Trip To Harbor Island Sc, Requesting Locations For Childs' 1st Hunt

Hey all,

I am a new guy and will be taking a trip to Harbor Island. I hope I am not being rude by asking spots for hunting. I will have a tough first grader with me and we are both obsessed with finding sharks teeth.

Harbor Island is down the road from Beaufort.

We live in Charlotte, so no fossil hunting here.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the Forum Murphy. Sorry I can't help you with a site near Beaufort SC (pronounced bu-fort), but I could tell you more about Beaufort NC (pronounced bo-fort)! Good luck finding some teeth, many times they are found on the beach, especially near inlets or areas where they have recently refurbished the beach with sand.
