Pool Man
http://www.myfoxtampabay.com/dpp/news/loca..._history_073009 I live about 4 miles from this spring, and have taken a tour of the lake and surounding area.Very nifty site and well protected, unlike Warm mineral springs a few miles away, which is for sale. Shamalama
Very cool site, I hope they can continue research and I'm interested to find out more about what they have found. Thanks for the link! -Dave __________________________________________________ Geologists on the whole are inconsistent drivers. When a roadcut presents itself, they tend to lurch and weave. To them, the roadcut is a portal, a fragment of a regional story, a proscenium arch that leads their imaginations into the earth and through the surrounding terrain. - John McPheeIf I'm going to drive safely, I can't do geology. - John McPheeCheck out my Blog for more fossils I've found: http://viewsofthemahantango.blogspot.com/
sweeneyb
I took a course on Florida Archaeology at UF and learned all about that site and got to see a lot of the preserved bodies when I worked at the FLMNH collections building. It is insane how well preserved they are. They are actually doing autopsies on them and the organs are so well preserved that they are learning a lot about them.
