Crazyhen
This specimen is from Luoping, Guizhou. Does it look like a Peltopleurus tyrannos?
Fossildude19
I don't think so - the scales on the flank are not nearly long/wide enough. The body shape is different in Peltopleurus. They are noticeably deeper bodied than this. @oilshale ??? 2 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 __________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." Crazyhen
My fish fossil finally arrived. I am still unable to identify the species of this fish. I took a few photos of higher resolution for you to take a look again.
