Hi All.

I found My first fossil in 1967. I was 13 years old. We had alot of fields, woods and hollows behind our house that went for miles with alot of exposed rock. Paul

wow. that's some pretty cool stuff that doesn't exist just everywhere. at the risk of sounding ignernt (again), is the brach plate shiny due to being wet or being made of shiniferous material or what?

Very cool first finds and I can see why they sparked an interest in fossils for you! Thanks for sharing!

Hi Sparkchaser

I lived in brownlewoods Most of the fossils here were found in pinehollow park before they put the 680 freeway in. The park had a lot of glacier formations and every summer I would walk the creek from midlothian all the way to poland ave. thanks for looking Paul
