As a thank you to the Fossil Forum and its members for allowing me to post a fossil business blurb from time to time, I hereby disclose my super secret, I used to have to kill people after I told them about this, Pleistocene site in New Jersey. I'll even disclose directions.

You don't need a shovel, screen, bug spray or anything like that. Although you do have to bring your silver pick! Start anywhere in New Jersey and go to the south Jersey shore. Drive up and down the main highway until you find commercial guys that dredge for clams, scallops or anything else offshore. Ask them if they found or have any fossils. Almost all of them have/do. (I assume this also works all the way down the coast to Texas)

This can be very productive as friends have acquired mammoth and mastodon molars. One actually bought the better part of a walrus skull with a complete two-foot tusk still in the skull.

If you've never bought a fossil yet, your time will come.

Oh, and my NJ, PA, and DE fossil brethren, join DVPS too.post-2027-1250043141_thumb.jpg

You are welcome
