oilshale Posted April 27, 2018 Share Posted April 27, 2018 Without seeing the head bones of the fish, I don't trust myself with a determination. Typical for Asialepidotus are large scales next to the anal fin - I don't see them here. There is a recent redescription by GUANG-HUI XU and XIN-YING MA: "Redescription and phylogenetic reassessment of Asialepidotus shingyiensis (Holostei, Halecomorphi) from the Middle Triassic Ladinian of China" 2 Be not ashamed of mistakes and thus make them crimes (Confucius, 551 BC - 479 BC).
