RomanK
This is the most dangerous Donetsk mine. Huge amount of rocks but mainly without any fossil. Roman http://s1143.photobu.../donbassfossil/
Shamalama
Very cool 3-d fossil! Were you able to extract the whole branch? -Dave __________________________________________________ Geologists on the whole are inconsistent drivers. Auspex
Very coarse furrows for it's diameter; different than most, anyway. Nice! Terry Dactyll
RomanK..... Nice Find, it does seem less ribby.... maybe Bruno will take a look, it could be a branch of something else maybe...Nice to see your mining spoil heaps lol..... some are more productive than others and those rain run off channels that cut into it, usually produce the odd fossil or two .... Heres one of our 'slag heaps' here in the UK.... getting a little overgrown now though.... Cheers Steve... And Welcome if your a New Member... Agree, it can be something other then calamite, but I would say it is not lepidodendron branch for sure. The dead rock was very hard and a bit different comparing with other places. Most previeuos were layered, that - not. Roman http://s1143.photobu.../donbassfossil/
